Sankaty Light House

One of our favorite parts about planning a couple’s wedding is learning the details of their love story. While James originally hailed from England, Liza grew up summering in Sconset, which eventually led to her living here during her college summers. Their love story did not begin, though, until a night out in 2011. Fast-forward a few years later, now both living on island year round – James popped the question! They instantly knew they wanted an intimate ‘local feel’ for their wedding. They chose the perfect place at a beautiful, private residence in Sconset for an outdoor ceremony and their reception continued on at the Sconset Casino.  During Liza’s college summers here, she was a waitress at The Seagrille, which made it a no brainer when she asked them to cater. After dinner, Liza + James, family and friends danced the night away to live entertainment by Perfect Day.
